One of our favorite ways to customize stone is by selecting an edge profile. These two bathrooms, from the same home, both feature the Eternal Statuario Polished Quartz by - but with differing styles.

The first vanity features an eased edge, lending a cleaner, more contemporary feel to the space. The second features an ogee edge - it's elegant and sculpted profile producing a more traditional expression of the quartz.

At DTK, details like this are never an afterthought. Nuances like edge profile play a major role in defining the character of a space ✨

Some spaces just stop you in your tracks ❤️‍🔥🤩 This is the kind of result that shows how material selection is EVERYTHING 🗣️

The contrast between the dramatic Saratoga leathered quartzite island and elegant Iceberg polished quartz perimeter elevated this kitchen to new heights. Fluted detailing on the cabinet, a completely flush cooktop, sculptural lighting 🤌Each detail was chosen to create a visual symphony. Craftsmanship and precise ex*****on brought it all together.

The client also requested a cheese 🧀 board and revolving platter to match the island - because it's important to accessorize!

We're beyond proud to have helped bring such a stunning kitchen to life ✨

Originally designed by Edgar Tafel, a protégé of Frank Lloyd Wright, this kitchen remodel was all about honoring the home’s architectural roots (while making it work for a modern era!)

A central butcher block island brings warmth and creates a natural gathering space, while our Nuage Suede Quartzite countertop perimeter offers durability and stunning movement.

A full-height Calacatta Imperiale Silk porcelain backsplash makes a bold statement; the veining carefully aligned for that continuous, architecutral look.

Upper cabinetry was intentionally minimized to keep the space open and clean. Not shown: a glass-front cabinet adding practical storage without visual weight.

Some of the original cabinetry was preserved and integrated into this design - keeping the soul of the home intact. In the end, it became a space defined not only by how it looks, but how seamlessly it functions for the retired professional chef who now calls this space home. We’re so grateful she trusted us with her project.

In fact, we were so proud of this result that we submitted it to the Wisconsin Builders Association’s Badger Craftsman Awards for Best New Kitchen.
Voting is open to the public beginning Monday, May 4th until May 27th - we’d appreciate you taking the time to head over to their website and vote for DTK!
