THE JAZZ FOODIE is BACK! Stay tuned for my next feature later today🤗Some of you might remember my column THE JAZZ FOODIE in Chicago Jazz Magazine. Kimi’s Kitchen took the lead in my life and so I put this column on the back burner.
I have been sitting on a lot of great features and feel it is time to start publishing them again. THE JAZZ FOODIE is a space where jazz artists and industry professionals share their favorite recipes and the story behind it.
My original idea was to film a show with my featured artist including live musical performance, interview, and then cooking their recipe. I will eventually get to that stage but for now will be sharing the recipe and possibly filming myself cooking it, or perhaps through the miracle of zoom, maybe a duo cooking session with the artist from afar.....Thank you so much for your support and please spread the word and share whenever you like! Kimi’s Kitchen steps up when singer’s bookings dry up due to COVID-19 There was a time, not that long ago, when acclaimed singer Kimberly Gordon held court every Sunday at Le Piano in Chicago, except when she was thrilling audiences in Paris. Then COVID-19 put Gordon’s performing career on hold. But the resourceful Wheeling resident had a backup plan.
