Stoppers Baseball
Hi Jeremy,
We wanted to let you know that after a lot of thought,____has decided that he won’t be playing baseball anymore.
This was an incredibly hard decision because he has absolutely loved being a part of the Stoppers program and playing with his teammates the past 5 years. Stoppers has been such a huge part of his life, which is why this wasn’t a decision he made lightly.
After not making the freshman baseball team at ____this spring, and with the success he’s had in football and in track and field (throwing shot put and discus), he’s decided to put his time and energy into those sports moving forward and see where those opportunities take him.
As hard as it is to step away from baseball, we can’t say enough about what Stoppers has meant to _____over the years. The program gave him so much more than baseball skills. It taught him how to be a leader, how to be an incredible teammate, and how to put the team ahead of himself. He learned what it means to work hard every day, to be accountable, to persevere through adversity, to handle failure with resilience, and to stay humble through success. He learned discipline, commitment, confidence, mental toughness, and how to support others through both the highs and the lows. Those are lessons that will stay with him for the rest of his life, no matter what sport or what path he chooses.
More than anything, though, Stoppers became a second family. The friendships he built and the bond he shares with those teammates are something he’ll always treasure. Honestly, that was the biggest reason we seriously considered having him play one more summer. Walking away from that group is the hardest part. But in the end, we feel this is the right decision for him, even though we’re going to miss being part of it like crazy.
Thank you for everything you’ve done for _____over the years. The time, energy, and heart the Stoppers gave these kids has made an incredible impact, and we’re so grateful that _____got to be part of it. We’ll always look back on his years with Stoppers with nothing but appreciation and great memories.
Thanks again, Jeremy. We truly appreciate everything.
Take care,
