We’re excited to be celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Route 66 in our upcoming limited time exhibit The Mother Road & Iconic DuPage Firsts! Mark your calendars for August 15, the opening of the exhibit!

This Juneteenth, we honor the stories of Black individuals who helped shape DuPage County and our nation. One such individual is Mary Ann Freeman Thomas. She was a Wheaton resident whose life reflects generations of resilience, community, and hope. Her story reminds us that history is both local and personal. Join us this Saturday, June 20, for Train Saturday! The DuPage Society of Model Engineers will be running the trains on the lower level of the Museum and answering questions from 1:30 – 3:30P.
