In cooperation with Naperville Rotary After Dark and our friends at Empire Burgers & Brew, Huck Bouma PC was thrilled to be able to share some Christmas cheer with local nursing home residents. We were honored to deliver over 1,850 Holiday cards containing yuletide wishes for this festive season. The cards were delivered to 17 different facilities in the surrounding area.

The received responses were deep and heartfelt.

The deep personal knowledge of community is important. A strong community provides an environment of safety and security.

Save A Life – Give Blood
On Thursday, November 16, 2023, in partnership with Versiti Blood Centers of Illinois, Huck Bouma proudly hosted a successful blood drive.

Across the communities that Versiti serves, more than 2,400 donors are needed every day to maintain a safe and adequate blood supply for patients. While nearly 40% of the population is eligible to donate blood, fewer than 5% do.

Huck Bouma was honored to be able to give back to the community in such a tangible manner.

Huck Bouma was honored to be able to be a sponsor of DuPage Pads' 17th Annual Taste of Hope event, held on March 2, 2023.

The event was led by DuPage Pads' 2023 Taste of Hope Committee, of which our firm administrator/office manager, Mary Hibbard Morrissey was the co-chair of the event; as well as the DuPage PADS Board of Directors, on which Huck Bouma Director, Carleton Yoder, is proud to serve.

This year's Taste of Hope raised critical funds to get started on creating a kitchen space to feed the 300 people who stay safe each day at the Interim Housing Center.

The solution to end homelessness is more complex than providing individuals with food and shelter. Founded in 1985, DuPagePads is the largest provider of interim and permanent housing, coupled with support services in order to help individuals work toward becoming self-sufficient.
