Here's the latest blog. I like to think of emotions like paints on the canvas of life. Each one you get to know gives you another color to paint with to express the experience of living.
In this blog, I offer 7 quick tips to remember the next time you get stuck or overwhelmed with an emotion.
My favorite is the wave metaphor. Each feeling has a beginning, middle, and end. Witness yourself as each feeling rolls in, peaks, and rolls out. Use your breath to surf the waves. And remember, this too shall pass ๐

My cozy office space is a little sanctuary to unpack and process life and relationships. There's a pathway along a stream right outside you can walk along before or after a session. If it's nice out, there's the option to have your session outside and integrate some nature therapy as well!

I'm glad you decided to click! I am here on Facebook to share with you my service offerings and psychoeducation. My name is Nava Narayani and I offer individual and relationship therapy. My office for in-person sessions is in Wheat Ridge, CO and I offer sessions online to clients who have a residential address in Colorado.
I work with issues around relationships, consensual non-monogamy, and attachment wounds. I love helping people come into a place of secure attachment bonding through the science of love and human experience. I also help people with issues around anxiety, trauma, identity development, self-esteem, and emotional regulation skills.
I am affirmative of LBGTQ+, BIPOC, s*x workers, spirituality, psychedelic use, and consensual non-monogamy.
I often draw from contemplative, somatic, mindfulness, and emotionally focused therapy. I also consider systemic, generational, cultural, and social justice impacts on clients mental wellbeing.
The process of choosing and therapist and starting therapy can be daunting. Through this platform, I aim to give you a sense of my style to help you with the decision to reach out and make the commitment to invest in your wellbeing. I also aim to use this platform to provide education to support you in between sessions and normalize mental health.
