Senior dogs deserve support before things become a crisis.
Yes, aging is real. Our dogs’ bodies do change as they get older. But “getting older” does not always have to mean struggling more and more.
Slowing down, hesitating on stairs, struggling to get up, or needing more time to warm up can all be signs their body is compensating or working harder than it needs to.
Animal Chiropractic care can help support mobility, comfort, nervous system function, and overall body awareness so senior dogs can keep doing the things they love with more ease.
The goal is not to turn back time. It is to help them feel as good as possible in the body they have now.
What is one thing your senior dog still loves to do? 🐾
🐾 Move better. Feel better. Live better. 🐴

Tiny movement breaks count.
You do not need a full workout, a perfect routine, or an hour of free time to give your body some support during the day. Sometimes your nervous system just needs a quick reminder that it is safe to move, breathe, and reset.
Stand up between tasks. Roll your shoulders. Take a short walk around the room. Stretch your neck gently. Unclench your jaw. Let your breath actually drop into your body instead of living up in your shoulders.
It sounds simple because it is, but simple does not mean ineffective.
Your body was not designed to sit in one position, stare at a screen, hold stress in your shoulders, and power through forever. A little movement throughout the day can go a long way in helping your body feel less stuck.
Set a timer today and take one 2-minute movement break. Your body will thank you. 💙

Dogs are really good at telling us when something feels off, but they do not always make it obvious.
Sometimes it is not a big limp or a dramatic yelp. Sometimes it looks like hesitating before jumping on the couch, taking the stairs a little slower, shifting their weight when they stand, licking at a paw, being less playful, or seeming a little more grumpy, clingy, or restless than usual.
And because dogs are so good at adapting, these little changes can be easy to miss or easy to brush off as “they’re just getting older.”
But subtle changes are still communication.
Animal Chiropractic care can help support healthy movement, comfort, and nervous system function so your dog can keep doing the things they love with more ease.
Have you ever noticed your dog acting a little different before you realized something was going on? 🐾

Wondering what actually happens at your dog’s first Chiropractic visit?
The first visit is all about getting to know your dog and understanding the bigger picture. We talk through their history, lifestyle, movement changes, concerns, and any veterinary information you have.
Then I observe how they move, how they stand, how they sit, and how they respond to gentle handling. The exam is calm, intentional, and based on what your dog is comfortable with.
If Chiropractic care is appropriate, adjustments are gentle and specific.
My goal is never to force your dog through the visit.
My goal is to create a safe, supportive experience that helps us understand what their body needs.
Your dog gets to be part of the conversation too.
