We want to take a moment today and remember a VERY special person, Louise. Louise was an integral part of Smiling Dog Farms for many years. She was extremely instrumental in placing so many of our dogs and helping them find the very best homes. Her passion and genuine love for the dogs was unmatched. She spent countless hours speaking with adopters and she would drive hours from her home to meet with them at transport. What was most comforting was that the adopters ALWAYS knew they would hear from her after, and she was only a phone call away for anything they may need. She truly cared for all of them and saw them all as friends. She had an amazing heart and a quick wit, that would always make us smile. Anyone who was lucky enough to know her, loved her.

It is with a very heavy heart, we say goodbye to her. Louise, you will NEVER be forgotten. Your spirit will live on in all of us, and in every dog that finds a new home. Rest in peace sweet friend.

Happy Saturday!!! Everyone say hello to our handsome boy Hardy! Hardy is currently available for adoption! This beautiful boy is 6 years old and about 100 pounds. He absolutely loves everyone BUT Hardy needs someone who is strong and who can keep up with all his energy (and he has lots!).
