Looking northward on the Perry Highway through the village of Wexford, Allegheny County in 1919. the corner of Cole's stable is on the left, followed by Cole's Hotel with a Bell Telephone sign, Goss residence and store and dwellings on the Joseph Brooker property next to Saint Alphonsus Church. On the right are automobiles parked in front of Cole's store with the post office. Between Cole's Hotel and the Goss residence is the road to Bayne (Wexford-Bayne Road aka Route 910) before it was relocated to the opposite side of the Goss residence during 1928 improvements. This section of Perry Highway was renamed Church Road.
