If you have chronic low back pain, Medicare covers up to 12 Acupuncture treatments within a 90 day period - and an additional 8 sessions if you show improvement.

Chronic low back pain is defined as:
1. Lasts 12 weeks or longer
2. Has no known cause
3. Isn't associated with surgery or pregnancy
