Filing an I-526E is the first step in the EB-5 immigration process, but it does not give you the right to live in the United States. If you are residing in the U.S. on another type of visa, you can file for adjustment of status concurrently with the I-526E, but if you're outside the U.S. you need to get approval for the I-526E before proceeding to the consular process. Make sure to speak to an experienced immigration attorney for assistance with this process.
