Law enforcement children grow up understanding sacrifices that many others never have to make.

They know birthdays may be interrupted, holidays may be delayed, and family traditions sometimes have to change because the call to serve comes first.

This July, during Law Enforcement Child Month, we honor the children behind the badge. Their resilience, patience, and strength deserve to be recognized just as much as the service of the officers they love. The Fraternal Order of Police is partnering with the Gratitude Initiative to raise awareness and provide meaningful support for law enforcement families through education and family-centered programs.
