Hiring isn't the only way to grow.

The ready-mix leaders gaining an advantage aren't just adding headcount, they're eliminating repetitive work.

Automation doesn't replace people.
It protects their time.

Integrations are a lot like ready-mix designs.

Typically ready-mix has cementitious material, water, fine & coarse aggregate, and often admixtures. But different specifications call for different proportions to meet workability, slump, strength, durability, and placement requirements.

And from producer to producer, there are unique mix designs and preferences that are often closely guarded.

Integrations work similarly. The ingredients might be similar from situation to situation. But how that information moves depends on the producer, the specific systems involved, and the business logic behind the process.

That is why, at Savvy Source, we understand that better built integrations are not just a connection. They need to be designed intentionally to eliminate busywork, support the people behind the work, and hold up to the stress of real day-to-day business.

Before you pour resources into another connection, make sure the design fits the operation.

Every invoice tells a story, but often that story is hidden in the details.

As material deliveries increase, so does the challenge of validating BOLs, vendor invoices, pricing, and hauler rates before transactions move forward.

BOL reconciliation automates that verification, ensuring clean data reaches your ERP and Batch while routing exceptions for human judgment.

Swipe through to see why BOL reconciliation is more than document storage it's about protecting the integrity of every transaction.

Not all integrations need the same approach.

Ready-mix producers use different mix designs because every project has different requirements.

Integrations work the same way. While most producers share similar systems and processes, the specifics of their workflow, exceptions, and operational goals are what determine whether an integration succeeds.

The goal isn't just connecting systems.
The goal is connecting them the right way.

At Savvy Source, we’re always working to get a little better and recently, that meant putting some time into our own space.

We updated our office with a hand crafted logo wall and word wall to reflect who we are, what we value, and the kind of company we’re building.

The wall highlights the four values that help drive us forward everyday:

Creativity (Exodus 35:31–32; Ephesians 2:10)
Generosity (Proverbs 11:25; 2 Corinthians 9:7)
Integrity (Proverbs 11:3; Proverbs 10:9)
Collaboration (Colossians 3:23; Ecclesiastes 4:9–10)

These aren’t just words for the wall. They’re the standard we hold ourselves to, our partnerships, and the work we do for our customers.

Super proud of the team effort for helping bring this together, and a special thank you to Common Auto Restyling for the print and installation.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Their sacrifice is not forgotten.

From all of us at Savvy Source, we wish you a meaningful Memorial Day.

Every producer runs a little differently.
But the end goal is usually the same:

Operational data needs to move cleanly into the financial system.
Right now, we’re testing integration platforms that help Command Cloud send data into accounting systems like QuickBooks.

Aidan recently built a proof of concept that syncs new customer records in under 10 seconds.

No duplicate entry.
Less back-office friction.
Better system alignment.

Now we’re pressure testing the workflow, revising the code, and working through what this looks like in the real world.

Simple concept.
Big operational upside.

Workflow improvements matter when they remove steps people repeat every day.

Paul configured an Outlook integration with OnBase so a customer can move emails, attachments, and related content into OnBase with fewer clicks and less steps.

A few minutes saved at a time adds up quickly across weeks, months, and a full year.

And no, according to Paul, it did not take 7,000 lines of code.
That’s a “total misconception.”

This past weekend, two of our very own achieved some incredible milestones. A huge Congratulations to Ben and Aidan for putting in the time and incredible effort to reach this point.

Ben is graduating with a Masters in Business Administration.

Aidan is graduating with a Bachelors in Computer Information Systems, Cum Laude.

We know you will both continue making an immense impact on those around you and we are truly thankful for the opportunity to have you on our team.

May The Lord bless you and Keep you! Numbers 6:24-26

Last night we attended the annual spring MaCAPA meeting.
It was a great chance to connect with local producers, have genuine conversations, and better understand what they are seeing across the industry.

We also heard more about some of the legislative issues impacting producers, construction, and the general public. The more time we spend around ready-mix, aggregate, and construction, the more we appreciate how connected this industry is to everything happening around us.

Roads, housing, infrastructure, local jobs, and the communities we live in all tie back to the work these producers are doing every day.

Appreciate MaCAPA for bringing everyone together and creating the space for these conversations.
