We had the pleasure of welcoming Officer Gehlhausen from the Westfield Police Department to our school, and what an enlightening visit it was! Officer Gehlhausen shared his journey and the 'why' behind becoming a police officer, offering us a glimpse into the passion and dedication that drive our local heroes.

🌟 Highlights of the Visit:

• Officer Gehlhausen's Why: Hearing firsthand about his motivation to serve and protect our community was truly inspiring.
• A Day in the Life: He walked us through his daily routines and responsibilities, giving us a better understanding of the life of a police officer.
• Keeping Westfield Safe: We learned about the various initiatives the police department undertakes to ensure Westfield remains a safe and welcoming place for families.
• Tools of the Trade: From gear to gadgets, Officer Gehlhausen introduced us to the tools that assist him in his duties.
• Police Car Tour: And, of course, seeing his police car up close was a highlight for many!

We're incredibly grateful to Officer Gehlhausen for taking the time to share his experiences with us and for all he does for our community. It was a fantastic opportunity for our students to learn about the critical role of law enforcement in maintaining the safety and quality of life in Westfield.
