The East High School Auditorium Renovation was recently featured in the IA Architect Winter 2026 issue and honored with a Merit Award for Preservation.
The recognition gave us an opportunity to revisit the project and share this drone fly-through of the beautifully restored auditorium, highlighting how the design team balanced preserving the space’s historic character with thoughtful modern system upgrades.

What a week of giving back! Our KCL teams recently rolled up their sleeves for some community impact work.
A favorite annual tradition continued in Des Moines, where our crew spent the day on-site with Habitat for Humanity, helping build a safe and welcoming home for a local family. In Eugene, our team showed up big for the Lane County Diaper Bank, repackaging over 5,000 diapers that will provide essential support to over 200 local families.
We're proud of the collective impact our teams made this week, showcasing KCL's commitment to our surrounding communities.
