Nurturing the mental health of local first responders The mental health of our first responders is now a focus of the training at Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue.

Get vaccinated. Win big.

Students currently enrolled in the Fall 2021 semester at the University of Nevada, Reno and who are fully vaccinated by Oct. 1, 2021, can be entered into a drawing to win fantastic prizes, including:

- Two $5,000 tuition scholarships
- Campus meal packages
- $500 textbook credit
- Parking passes
- Nevada Athletics tickets
- WolfBucks
- Wolf Shop merchandise

To enter, students need to submit valid proof that they have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by completing the online form at unr.edu/vax along with an upload of their proof by Oct. 1, 2021.

If students have not been vaccinated yet, the UNR Student Health Center is hosting two vaccination pop-up events Aug. 13 & 20 at the Joe Crowley Student Union! Students must receive both doses of the two-dose vaccines, or a single dose of a one-dose vaccine by Oct. 1, 2021. Students DO NOT need, nor should they present their physical proof of vaccination to anyone in person, nor do they need to be vaccinated at one of the pop-up events. Any fully vaccinated student can enter, even if they were vaccinated by the County or somewhere else this past spring.

Winners will be notified by the Center for Student Engagement and announced on unr.edu/vax after Oct. 1, 2021.
