Third annual North Louisiana Safety Conference set to return to Monroe The conference will take place at the Advanced Technology Center (ATC) Building at Louisiana Delta Community College on May 18.

One major obstacle we face in the workplace is choice of care. We typically think about this on the benefits and HR side, but the truth of things is how valuable choice of care is on the safety side. Choosing the wrong place for attention can create unnecessary medical treatments that can cause skyrocketing expenses. All which could be avoidable. We always advocate for employees and their proper medical treatment, but an emergency room's treatment options can (and most often do) significantly differ from an urgent care and especially from an occupational medicine expert.
