Mother’s Day 2026 was sooooo simple and so special. These special drawings from my children and the precious moments creating memories with them mean so much. These children and this nuclear little family of mine, my mother, my parents, my grandmother, and grandparents — they are “My Why” for Senior Transition Partners.

Thank you partners, clients, friends and family for all your support.

Sending love to all mamas, future mamas, hopeful mamas, substitute mamas, complicated mama situation friends, late mamas, and more. Love you all and sending that love out to y’all.

Decor matters. 🐣

Even if it’s not your style, it’s a beautiful indicator that residents and community staff care.

It’s the simple things. 🤍🌷🤍

Happy Easter 🐇 2025. He LIVES. ☀️

Obsessed with a recent remodel on this community!

What is one of my favorite features to share with clients?

A private dining area for families and friends to gather and share a meal helps your new house feel like a home. 🤍🏡🤍

Your (or your loved one’s) next chapter should never take away the moments that matter most. It should make them easier.

Imagine a set up like this with your friends and family… meal prepped, served and hosted beautifully, and cleaned up without you lifting a finger. 🪄

If you’re exploring options, I’d love to help you find a place that truly feels like home.

Letting go of a house doesn't mean letting go of a life; it means choosing a new chapter.

Bust: In many communities, tech keeps seniors more connected to loved ones, health care, and mental stimulation.

Unspoken Grief in the Transition
Change brings loss, even when it's the right decision. Leaving a longtime home, saying goodbye to familiar routines, or downsizing possessions can bring unexpected grief.

Supporting this means acknowledging the loss, letting your loved one decide what stays or goes, and allowing time for emotions without pressure. Giving space to grieve creates space for peace.

You don't outgrow the need to be understood, you grow into it.

Bust: Advocating for safety, companionship, and dignity isn't selfish; it's a profound form of love.

The Caregiver's Identity Crisis
You're not just the daughter anymore. Caregiving can blur love and duty, leaving you feeling resentful, exhausted, and missing your own life. Letting go of full-time care isn't abandonment, it's reclaiming both your identities.

Some transitions are hard because they matter so much.
