Do Good Better Podcast
04/25/2024
So after 326 episodes over 4 years of podcasting...today is the LAST episode of The Official Do Good Better Podcast. 🥹
I can't begin to tell you how incredible this ride has been, how many friends I have made because of it, how many opportunities it has given me to speak with my idols, the chance to learn from the smartest humans in the nonprofit and business realms, and opened doors to speak on stages I only dreamed of getting on.
We cracked the Top 10 on Apple Podcasts in over a dozen countries including Top 5 in the US.
We've had downloads from across the globe.
We've been featured in Top Nonprofit Podcasts to listen to articles all over the place
It's been freaking WILD.
Now, I certainly am no where NEAR done podcasting. In fact, our new show kicks off in just a matter of weeks. BUT - I'd be remiss if I didn't take a moment to thank a few folks who have helped launch and keep rocking this amazing show.
Thanks to Lee Schwartz who has been my producer since episode #1. He's one of my favorite humans, and has been a content creator with me, a cheerleader second to none, and a great beer-drinking-brainstorming partner in crime.
Thanks to Leah Reed, who helped book nearly every guest, made sure I was prepped for every show, and the individual who pushed out the episodes into the interweb universe.
Thanks so much for all our sponsors who have helped fund the show - including DonorDock who was the first business to say YES to supporting, and most recently PRO Resources.
And finally, thanks so everyone who ever listened, watched or contributed as a guest on the show!
What's next!?
The Do Good to the Max Podcast is right around the corner...and with professional athletes, Fortune 1000 CEO's and elected officials from state and national governments on the interview schedule, it's going to be one fantastically unique show.
But for now? Check out the LAST episode (and feel free to pass along to anyone in the nonprofit realm that might need a pick-me-up in in their fundraising or leadership career!) and stay tuned for a launch date of our next adventure!!!
Today's Five-Star Guest is Devika Narayanan, Chief of Staff of Nostos Homes
Internal displacement can happen suddenly, following an environmental disaster like a hurricane or an earthquake. It may occur over a short, intense period of civil war; it may take place slowly and continually over decades; it may be the result of public or private sector development projects.
At Nostos, they build homes for the forcibly displaced to help them thrive. Their innovative homes are designed to serve as intermediate shelters for people displaced due to violent conflict or natural disasters. The shelters are modular, light-weight and can be easily transported to affected areas.
