This Sportsman 302 Open paired with a custom Wesco Trailers build is exactly what happens when a customer knows what they want and partners with the right team to bring it to life. From the first call with the dealer — “He wants a Wesco under it” — this project became a fully customized setup built around the customer’s exact needs and how he plans to use the boat. The result is a heavy-duty Saltwater Series trailer loaded with features like a custom bow entry ladder, dual matching spares, 7K torsion axles, electric over hydraulic brakes, TPMS, and our new fully jacketed IP68 wire harness system for 2027.

And after hitting the road, the feedback said it all: “Like a champ!” The owner shared that multiple people at Sportsman were jealous of the Wesco setup — specifically the custom bow ladder, dual spare mount, and just how beefy the trailer looked and felt under the boat.
