I recently spoke at a national conference and shared a model I created to assist organizations in gaining a better understanding as to why people have such drastically different views on whether an organization is genuinely committed to DEI. I called this model "Impact to Urgency." It states that your urgency and commitment to DEI efforts are dramatically influenced by your organizational power and experience with inequity.
