Abbey Johnson is a senior at Wiregrass Ranch High School and has been a dedicated member of the New Teacher Academy for the past four years, growing both personally and academically along the way.
Through her experiences in the academy, Abbey developed confidence in her public speaking skills. What once began as nervousness before presentations turned into the ability to confidently lead and instruct a classroom. Over time, she embraced opportunities to stand in front of her peers, and by the end of her internship, she was able to teach with ease and confidence.
In addition to her academic accomplishments, Abbey learned how to effectively manage her time while balancing challenging coursework, a part-time job, and her commitment as a student-athlete. These experiences helped her grow into a well-rounded and determined individual.
This fall, she will be taking her talents to the next level as a Division I cross country runner at the University of West Florida, where she plans to major in Civil Engineering. đââď¸đ
We are so proud of Abbey Johnsonâs growth, perseverance, and accomplishments, and we look forward to all she will achieve in the future! đđ
