Equine facilitated grief support group for children the first and second Wednesday of each month from 6-7pm.

This is a free support group for up to 12 children ages 8-14 who have lost a parent.

This support group is hosted by our director Dr. Stefanie Mazer, Psy.D.

This is a support group, not psychotherapy or therapeutic riding, providing children with an opportunity to find support from each other and in shared experiences in partnership with horses on the ground. Horses in this context are seen as intimidating prey animals who provide live biofeedback that mirror human happenings through experiential learning opportunities.
