The Library Foundation Gala plays a critical role in raising the private funding needed for our Library to provide the extraordinary, free resources our community relies on. Join us for our biennial Gala on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at the Wellesley Country Club. You’re invited to a spectacular evening featuring our guest speaker: Academy Award, BAFTA, and Emmy Award-winning producer and director, Evan Hayes.

Hayes has strong ties to Wellesley: he attended Hunnewell Elementary School and Wellesley Middle School before graduating from Wellesley High School, Phillips Exeter Academy (PG), and the University of Southern California. His mother, Mary Forte Hayes, served as principal of Wellesley High School from 1987 – 1996.
