One of the biggest misconceptions and misinformation with Medicare, is if you are approaching 65 you have to sign up no matter what or will have to pay penalties. Not true!! If you are still working and part of an employer of 20 or more employees, you DO NOT have to sign up. You can take out Medicare down the road when retiring or choosing to come off the group plan with no penalties. If you have further questions about this feel free to reach out!
