Thank you I Am Global! We are now on our way back to the field to begin our next term!

We are stuck in Peru. We came down to get our things out of storage and return to Panama, and have flights to return next week. It’s not happening now. All flights are grounded as of midnight tonight, and last night when I tried to change our flights to leave today, there were no more flights available.

It’s already starting to get crazy here. This is the line to enter the grocery store. For the next 15 days (AT LEAST!) traffic on the streets are now limited to going to the grocery store, pharmacy, doctor, bank, gas station or to care for a child, an elderly or disabled person. All restaurants, non-emergency stores, etc. are to remain closed until further notice. The National Guard is our to enforce traffic rules, and food riots have already begun.

We are finally heading back to the field!!! Thank you to each and every one of you who prayed for me during these surgeries and recovery. May the Lord bless you all!
