🚨 PUBLIC ASSISTANCE REQUEST 🚨

The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance regarding an ongoing investigation.

Deputies responded to a reported female with a self-inflicted gunshot wound in the 30000 block of Alabama Highway 48. Prior to law enforcement’s arrival, witnesses observed a male running from the vehicle.

The individual is described as:
• White male
• No shirt
• Gray sweatpants
• Numerous tattoos

At this time, the male is considered a witness, and investigators would like to speak with him regarding the incident.

If you see anyone matching this description or have information that may help identify or locate him, please contact 911 immediately or call the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office.

As always, please do not attempt to approach or detain the individual yourself. Allow law enforcement to handle the situation.

📍 May 22 – County Road 37, Graham
A Georgia Bulldog outfit, new glasses and a Nike outfit were reported stolen. A suspect was named.

📍 May 22 – County Road 17, near Paran
A property owner reported five of his neighbor’s cows have been in his pasture for more than a month. The complainant stated he has contacted the owner several times and wants the cattle removed.

📍 May 22 – County Road 17, near Wehadkee
An excavator caught fire while working near a burn pit. No injuries were reported.

📍 May 23 – County Road 968, near New Hope West Church
A Lineville woman who had been missing in the woods for approximately 12 to 16 hours was located safely. She and several friends had been riding dirt roads when their truck became stuck. The woman became separated from the group while attempting to wave down help. She was evaluated by Southern Ambulance Transport and later taken to a friend’s residence.

• Jesse Lee Green, 46, of Woodland — third-degree theft — May 18
Green is accused of stealing 20 two-by-fours from a pallet yard on County Road 512.

• Denise Hope, 55, of Woodland — financial exploitation of the elderly and 10 counts of fraudulent use of a credit card — May 18

• Weyman Matthew McDaniel, 51, of Roanoke — failure to appear in court (possession of pornographic material involving minors) — May 18

• Misty Lynn Adams, 47, of Westville, Florida — failure to appear in court (first-degree assault) — May 19

• Chad Chambers, 39, of Newell — failure to appear in court (harassment) — May 19

• Kimberlee Heard, 30, of Roanoke — third-degree criminal mischief — May 19
Heard is accused of pouring Dr Pepper and Skittles into the gas tank of a vehicle on County Road 91 on May 18.

• Wendell Derell Hendricks, 44, of Roanoke — failure to appear in court (illegal possession of a credit card, possession of a controlled substance, second-degree possession of ma*****na, possession of drug paraphernalia and child support) — May 20

• Tasheka Deanna “Shay” Knight, 25, of Wedowee — failure to appear in court (resisting arrest, fourth-degree theft of property and DUI) — May 20

• Antonio Lamont Reese, 36, of Auburn — failure to appear in court (first-degree theft of property) — May 20

• Lukea William Brown, 22, of Roanoke — DUI, possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminal mischief, third-degree criminal mischief and harassing communications — May 21

• William Devon Dean, 20, of Roanoke — possession of ma*****na — May 21

• Nikki Brea Muse, 41, of Bowdon, Georgia — fugitive from justice in Carroll County, Georgia — May 23

• Robert Anthony Smith, 52, of Roanoke — failure to appear in court (third-degree domestic violence [harassment], third-degree domestic violence [assault] and speeding) — May 23

• Keven Lee Gurley, 25, of Roanoke — second-degree possession of ma*****na, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance
