Free Agent Baseball

Congratulations Free Agents 13u – Hyde we fought hard all Tournament. FA came out a little flat in the semifinal game on Sunday and lost, was kicked down to the losers bracket in a double elimination Tournament. FA won the next game VS Cubs 7-1 and sent us back into winners bracket and into the championship game. We won the first Championship game 8 - 6 with some great pitching from Jesse salinas and Cayden Wright and Cayden followed it up with a three run blast HR, followed by some timely hitting from jesse, AP, Colton Warshaw and solid team fielding. Unfortunately, at the start of the 2nd championship game a massive thunderstorm rolled through the complex in Lake Charles. After a long delay and parents leaving due to safety and drive home. PG decided to do a Coin Flip to see who was the champion and the runner-up Team. Even though we were the highest seed and just beat them in game 1 of the championship, but had to double dip. Unfortunately , FA lost the coin flip. As the coach of these young-men, I just want to say Thank you, very proud of this group they played hard all week, we all left disappointed in the World Series Champion being decided by a corn flip,  but we all know nobody at this World Series wanted to play this team. They knew what they were gonna get a group of kids that would play their tail end off for each other and they did , super proud Coach.

Congratulations: Free Agent baseball 9U – Team, Niko and the Free Agent – Hyde 13U teams are playing well this week at the SWLA PG World Series after a hard-fought game,Texas shootout style today between 9U FA VS D1 baseball - FA 9u came out on top and will be advancing to the semifinals tomorrow. The 13U-Hyde team advanced today to the semifinal game tomorrow at 10 AM with the help of some great pitching and Home runs from (1) Jesse salinas  (2) HRs from Austin Precenvial and a walk off sacrifice bunt from Colton Warshaw sent the 13u FA team into the semifinals. Great HOT week of baseball 9u is currently 3-3 and 13u is 4-2. Great TEAM efforts let’s go FA let’s finish .
