Webster Firefighters Local 170

The Webster Brotherhood of Firefighters was formed close to 50 years ago as the Union representing the Firefighters in the Town of Webster.
Several years ago union representation was switched from our self-governed bargaining unit to the Teamsters Local 170 and transitioned the Brotherhood into an association group which allowed us to better organize, bargain and hold fundraisers to benefit both our members and the community.
Recent events within the Fire Department have caused the Teamsters Local 170 to be dissolved thus leaving membership with No Contract and No Protection.
As a result several members have resigned and retired. This unfortunate reality aside, in a final act of community service for members who have served the Town of Webster with great pride for many years, the Webster Brotherhood of Firefighter Local 170 have voted to distribute our remaining funds between organizations that directly benefit the youth of our community; Webster Little League, Webster Fastpitch Softball, Webster Youth Soccer, and the Boys and Girls Club of Webster/Dudley.
Today Lieutenant Joe Motrucinski had the honor and pleasure of presenting a check donation in the sum of $3,250.00 to Webster Little League.

Members are operating Mutual Aid in Dudley For a 2nd Alarm structure fire on Schofield Ave and Brandon Road. Rescues were made.
