Diet culture sold women a dangerous idea: that being smaller was always better. For generations, women were encouraged to eat less, weigh less, and take up less space. Many learned to fear muscle, avoid strength training, and undernourish their bodies in pursuit of thinness. The problem? Thinness doesn’t protect us from aging. Strong muscles and healthy bones help us stay mobile, prevent falls, recover from illness, and maintain independence. When we spend decades shrinking ourselves, the consequences can show up later as frailty, fractures, and loss of function.
The goal shouldn’t be to stay small forever.
The goal is to build a body that can carry you through your entire life.

Not every part of your life needs to be a self-improvement project.You don’t have to optimize every habit, fix every flaw, or turn every moment into personal growth. Sometimes the pressure to constantly become “better” just steals your peace.

You’re allowed to rest.
You’re allowed to exist without performing productivity.
You’re allowed to enjoy your life without treating yourself like something that always needs fixing.
