At the library this year we’re marking 75 years in our building on Lockwood. But we’re also celebrating much deeper historical ties to our community. 301 E. Lockwood is the library’s 5th location since a free public reading room was established in the 1880s in a ramshackle building located where you can now enjoy fine Italian dining.
