We would encourage all to do two simple tasks to avoid Christmas fires. 1st plug your tree lights through a surge protector to your wall outlet. They can be purchased cheaply at any Walmart or Lowe’s and Home Depot. 2nd have an ABC portable fire extinguisher or possibly a more expensive small CO2 portable fire extinguisher near by and accessible. A small mess is far more cheaper than a house fire, and destruction of memories.

We at AFS have always done foster homes and handicap establishment fire extinguishers inspections free - though we don't expect a thank you or gratitude and never have gotten one till now - it does warm the heart - thank you heather's old skool village for the sweet note
