It's FINALLY here! Opening day is tomorrow- July 7th!

Still very much a work in progress, but here's a little peek of the setup so far!
Opening day is July 7th and our grand opening celebration is scheduled for July 18th (there will be snacks and giveaways). Looking forward to meeting our local booklovers next week!

It's been an EXCITING MAIL week: yesterday we received not only our first box of brand new books, but also these adorable logo stickers designed by our (recent RCAD grad and longtime Shelf employee) Melissa Kim!

Meet your booksellers! We're Nikki and Donna, a mother/daughter team relocating our bookshop from Sarasota, Florida to Waynesboro, Virginia ❤️
Donna is a retired SUNY educator who likes to read non-fiction, literary and historical fiction, time travel, and anything where the setting is its own character. Her favorite books are The Grapes of Wrath and The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue.
Nikki is our shop manager, book buyer, and event planner extraordinaire. She's a diehard romantasy and fantasy girlie/cat lady. Her favorite series are the Farseer Trilogy, Throne of Glass, and the Kingkiller Chronicles.
