Anyone know much about these style hooks? I'm not planning to sell them ever.

They dont appear to have a barb which makes me feel you would lose alot of fish. I have fly fished in a barbless hook trout sanctuary and you had to keep constant tension and move fast to get the fish landed. It seems to be primarily an Asian country hook . Might be effective for fishing off a bridge or a dock from an aerial position. I'm just curious is there a technique this hook would be better than a traditional barbed treble hook.
