It's super tempting to plan everything out into one day. But, one thing you shouldn't do? Go to the doctor BEFORE coming to get your photos taken!
Let's face it - nobody feels good after getting a shot. And your kids certainly won't either! This is why, if you have a busy day full of things to get done, we say do pictures before going to the doctor. This makes it easier for everyone, we promise!

Take deep breaths, and rela # # #! Your kids feed off of your energy, so they’ll know if you’re stressed. The reason you come to us is because you know you can trust us, so please, don’t worry!
We work with kids all day every day, which means when something unexpected happens – a meltdown, an energy shift, or an attitude, we know how to handle it. Hand things over to your photographer, they’ll know exactly how to handle it!

Before you come in for a photoshoot : check the details!!
Make sure your nails are done, there's no stains on your clothes, and everything else! Of course, accidents happen and there's no stopping that! We can absolutely help you if something comes up. But, in the meantime, preparation is key! And if you pay attention to those small details, you photos will turn out even better than expected.

We're loving these outdoor sessions lately! Remember that we still have two weekends left before you have to wait until the fall!
We love to get kids excited about a photoshoot that will make them feel super great about themselves. What NOT to do? Offer a reward to your kids. If you say things like “We’ll get a toy after your session” or “I’ll give you candy if you’re good,” you’re sending the message that this will be something your kiddos will not enjoy.
If you frame your session as something positive, then your kids will love coming and getting their photos taken so much, you won’t even need a bribe!
