Locations that received heavy rainfall on Friday will be more susceptible to flooding today.
⛈️ Numerous to Widespread Thunderstorms Expected This Afternoon and Evening Main Hazards:
Wind gusts up to 50 mph
Frequent lightning
Locally heavy rainfall
Potential for localized flooding.
🌡️ Hot and Humid Conditions Continue Into Next Week
Heat index values of 103°–107° today and Sunday.
Dangerous heat index values of 105°–110° are possible next week.

A Flood Watch remains in effect for portions of Inland Southeast Georgia, including areas north of Waycross.
🌧️ Rainfall Totals • 4–10 inches of rain fell across parts of the area on Friday. • An additional 1–2 inches of rainfall is expected today, with isolated amounts up to 3 inches possible.
⚠️ Flooding Concerns • Low-lying and poor drainage areas • Creeks, streams, and rivers • Roadways and intersections • Areas that received heavy rainfall Friday will be especially vulnerable to flooding today.
