History Made for Ware County High School FBLA!
Ware County High School FBLA returned from the 2026 FBLA National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, Texas, with historic accomplishments! More than 16,000 competitors from across the United States and Canada gathered to compete, with more than 125 teams competing in each of Ware County's events.
FBLA prepares students for success in business and leadership through real-world competitive events that develop communication, teamwork, professionalism, critical thinking, and career-ready skills. This year, Ware County students demonstrated those skills on the national stage.
National Champions – Local Chapter Annual Business Report
Congratulations to Juan M., Matthew D., and Kevin L. for making Ware County FBLA history by earning the chapter's first-ever National Championship! Their championship-winning project showcased an entire year of chapter leadership, membership growth, financial management, community service, and chapter impact through a professional 17-page business report and live presentation before a panel of judges.
8th in the Nation – Sales Presentation
Congratulations to Maleah M. and Santiago C. for earning an outstanding 8th-place national finish in Sales Presentation. Their event challenged them to develop and deliver a professional sales presentation while demonstrating exceptional communication, teamwork, professionalism, and critical-thinking skills before business professionals.
Ware County FBLA also earned High School Champion Chapter Gold and Champion Plus recognition, honoring the chapter’s excellence in leadership, service, recruitment, professional development, and chapter engagement. In addition, Juan, Matthew and Kevin were recognized at NLC for completing the FBLA Capstone Project, the highest level of FBLA’s individual leadership achievement program.
These incredible accomplishments continue Ware County FBLA's tradition of excellence on the national stage and reflect the dedication, perseverance, and hard work of these outstanding students.
Summer Learning Doesn't Have to Look Like School
If your child groans at the thought of a workbook, don't worry. Learning happens in everyday moments.
Have them read the recipe while you cook. Let them help measure ingredients. Ask them to estimate the grocery total before you check out. Look up the name of a bird you spotted outside. Play a card game together.
Curiosity is a wonderful teacher.
The best summer memories often become the best learning opportunities, too!
