Closed-Owl Ridge General Store, LLC
Lots of requests for the cinnamon rolls. There is currently a $10 rebate on them, so price for August order is $92.95 for a case of 100. These are the big 5oz size. Next month they go up to $102.95 per case.
The icing comes in a 43 # pail. That's a lot of icing! I'm not finding smaller sizes, so you might be best to buy that a the grocery store. Just look make sure it's icing - not frosting. There is a difference. Frosting stays soft, Icing dries hard.
It's been almost 2 years since we closed the store, and I really miss our customers. I have a question for you all - is there any interest in purchasing full cases of the products we used to sell? Examples are: Cinnamon rolls, frozen turnovers, frozen cookie dough, 3-gallon size tubs of Ice Cream, 20 # cases of various pastas, 50 # bags of flours, etc? I will not be reopening the store, but we have maintained our licenses to be able to sell products by the full case. My suppliers have minimum order requirements, so If I can't get enough orders, I can't do it. But, if there is serious interest, I'll look into it. Thank You,

The meeting that was planned for Monday, November 15 for residents to vote on the purchase of a $140,000 excavator has been cancelled for now. At this time, it is unknown if the meeting will be rescheduled.
I will share any information that I learn about this issue.
This message is for all friends, neighbors and residents of the Town of Wausau.
Next Monday, November 8th there will be a Special Town Meeting of the electors (voting residents) of the Town of Wausau, starting at 7:00 PM. The purpose of the meeting is to approve the tax levy AND to authorize the town board to purchase any land within the township that does not exceed $20,000.
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR YOU TO ATTEND!
Why? Because our newly elected Town Board is spending money like there’s no tomorrow.
They’ve already purchased 2 new pieces of equipment for combined costs of $23,910. But now they want to borrow $200,000 to purchase a $140,000 excavator and add another town employee. How did the need for a new mower jump to $250,000 in new costs for taxpayers?
We currently have outstanding loans on a fire truck and 2 town trucks for $295,000. Add another $200,000 and taxpayers are in debt for a HALF a MILLION dollars!
And, why does the town need to purchase $20,000 in land?
How will it be paid for? Raise taxes!
Town of Wausau residents- you need to make your voices heard. Be at the budget hearing Monday night and tell the Town Board to use some common sense.
