Congratulations Bella on graduating from Vision Therapy!

Bella, you did amazing and we’re cheering you on as you take on everything ahead!
Saccades are the quick eye movements we use to shift focus from one point to another. They play a huge role in everyday tasks like reading, copying from the board, and scanning our environment.
We’re putting those eye movements to the test with a fun challenge! Activities like this help strengthen accuracy, speed, and coordination of saccadic eye movements, an important skill we often work on in vision therapy.
Think you can complete the challenge? Let us know if you could make it all the way to the end!
Wachs Mental Minus
This exercise is a powerful way to challenge the visual system and strengthen focusing skills. Wachs Mental Minus works by training the eyes and brain to clear up blur without immediately relying on extra lens power. It encourages active focusing, better control of accommodation or your eyes’ ability to focus.
Stronger focusing skills can mean less eye strain, better clarity at near, and improved comfort with reading and screen time.
Like many vision therapy activities, it may look simple, but it’s designed to build coordination in a very intentional way.
