Waukee CSD Preschool

It’s the last week of preschool and we can’t wait for some fun days ahead as we finish out the school year!

A couple of weeks ago, we welcomed the CNA students from the APEX building for a special Teddy Bear Clinic!

Our preschoolers had so much fun taking care of their teddy bears just like real doctors and nurses. The children checked in their patients, took their teddy bears’ vitals using thermometers and stethoscopes, and even checked blood pressure. They also gave their teddy bears a “shot,” added bandages, and finished by putting casts on any “injuries.”

This hands-on experience gave our preschoolers a fun way to learn about caring for others while exploring medical tools and pretend play. A big thank you to the CNA students for creating such a wonderful and memorable experience for our little learners! 🩺 🧸❤️
