Curious Kids Hour - the summer S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) events - continues on July 15 at 10:30 am! How does an object move? Let’s build a balloon car out of recycled materials and find out. It's Engineering week!

Designed for rising 2nd through 6th grade students, these occur every Wednesday throughout July. Join us for hands-on experiments, technology literacy, creative builds, and so much more!

☀️ Cooling Center Open Tuesday ☀️

Our Cooling Center will be open on Tuesday, July 14, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The Cooling Center is open to adults ages 18 and older, and well-behaved pets are welcome. Please share this information with anyone who may need a safe, cool place to escape the heat.

Today, Saturday, July 11, is a great time to visit the Waterville Public Library! Our Book Sale starts when we open the doors at 10:00 am (though you can get in during the preview sale before that with a $20 donation). Family Storytime with the Girl Scouts of Maine () starts at 10:30 am and all attendees will have a chance to win a ticket to see "Cookie Queens" during the Maine International Film Festival! Then at noon, all teens are welcome to join in on board games with Teen Tabletop Gaming!

This is all on top of our ongoing scavenger hunt, a chance to get seeds before Seed Library closes for 2026, and signing up for our Summer Reading Program!
