We do not care for each other alone

Caregivers for those with dementia need moments to themselves to catch their breath. Find ways to create and sustain support through community organizations like social clubs, local churches, or public libraries.

If you are a caregiver looking for additional support, get in touch with your health center's Connector to learn about other ways they can help you.

AI seeing things that aren't there?

AI can hallucinate answers that look legitimate, but are not. These "hallucinations" happen when AI produces content that is not true or does not reflect the question that it was asked.

This can look like AI making up information, producing resources (like websites) that are not real, or inserting additional information to the original question that was asked.

An example of AI hallucination is: You tell AI about a health concern, such as "I think I have gastritis because I have heartburn." From this, AI may create a fabricated treatment plan with information pulled from a post on social media site, as well as information it has made up to fill in the gaps of the plan. This is not fact-checked by a doctor and may contain harmful or unverified suggestions.

If you have a question about your health, call your health center. Our Triage Nurses or on-call clinicians can help direct you to next steps with judgement-free support based on years of experience and training. We're here for you.

For this year's fundraising campaign…

…we are excited to be working with Neighbors Driving Neighbors! Every year, during the month of September, we partner with a local organization to support with our HealthReach Fundraising Campaign. We believe that giving back to our community is one of the best ways to connect with and support the needs of our patients, and we are excited to continue this tradition in 2026!

Neighbors Driving Neighbors provides free and confidential rides for residents of Belgrade, Fayette, Manchester, Mt. Vernon, Readfield, Rome and Vienna who are not able to drive. They can take riders to the grocery store, medical appointments, social events, and more. For those who are unable to leave the house, they are also able to provide grocery and pharmacy pick-up.

We look forward to supporting a wonderful organization! Keep an eye out for more information coming soon about this year's Fundraising Campaign.

Stuffy nose?

Allergies can cause your nasal passages to swell and give you a stuffy nose, even if you aren't sick. If you are an allergy season sufferer, saline rinses, and over-the-counter nasal sprays can help. Talk to your clinician about the best treatments for you.
