I’ve known from the first time we met for a consultation via face time and they were drinking to-go Negronis from their favorite neighborhood restaurant at 3pm that and were my kind of people, and what a pleasure it’s been to discover just how right I was about that over the past 18 months. Gracious, thoughtful, easygoing, invested only in the things that matter, introspective, trusting, and kind. Truly, truly kind. What an incredible treat to see one of our favorite weddings of all time featured in today! We worked with Amanda and Peter on a wedding focused on celebrating their community, and it started with their 6 (!) children. Working with them was a joy from start to finish, and the wedding day felt incredibly intimate and personal. Amanda and Peter wanted the day to be about their guests - their community - knowing how much they loved and appreciated them, and for the blending of their families to be at the forefront of the story of their wedding day. In the end, that’s exactly what happened. Plus, the bride loved Notorious BIG and let me incorporate that into the wedding. I mean.......
