With an increase in takeout and food delivery, the way we use single use plastic has changed rapidly. We worked with to reinvent single use plastics with a focus on environmentally friendly solutions, including compostable and 100% recycled plastic. Both options are made in the USA.
The Shave 5 Razor concept phase explored a variety of sustainable materials, construction, cost and positioning. The Evo Design team also included ideas about the kinds of forms and details that work best with each overall design strategy. There is often pressure to move rapidly into 3D, but with so many objectives to consider, we chose a process that helps the team visualize the potential for as many directions as possible. Creating so many concepts that get rejected can feel wasteful but a close, long-term partnership allows us to represent our thinking quickly and not create time-consuming presentations.
