Dangerous levels of radon - a naturally-occurring gas that comes from the soil - can be found in most Iowa homes.

Radon is dangerous because it can cause lung cancer. Among non-smokers, radon is the #1 cause of lung cancer. Radon exposure also significantly increases the risk of lung cancer in people who smoke.

The only way you can know if your home is safe is to test it for radon. Visit with us to learn more, and purchase a test kit, at one of our upcoming events!
