We're excited to announce an opening for an Educational Counselor in our Federally Funded UNI Educational Talent Search Cedar Rapids TRIO Program at UNI-CUE! This position is unique in that it is based out of Cedar Rapids, IA!

As an Educational Counselor, you'll play a vital role in guiding students toward success. On Aug. 1, 2025, interest will begin accruing on federal student loans in the Saving on a Valuable Education (SAVE) Plan forbearance. This is the result of federal court injunctions. Borrowers with loans in the SAVE forbearance are receiving an email from the U.S. Department of Education ([email protected]) with detailed info. Visit StudentAid.gov/courtactions for more about:​
