Great things are happening at TechWorks and we couldn't be more proud of the leadership and commitment of the TechWorks Board Members who guide the vision of the organization.
Thank you, Tim Hurley, for your service over the past 12 years as the TechWorks Board Chair. Your commitment has positioned the TechWorks Campus as a place where innovation happens.
Long time board member, Dave Deaver, has assumed the role of TechWorks Board Chair and will see the organization down the homestretch as Hawkeye Community College initiates construction of their new SACA Center located on the 2nd floor of TechWorks.
This is a recap video of when John Deere brought their augmented-reality welding simulator to share with IGNITE students.
The IGNITE program is a collaboration between Hawkeye Community College, the Waterloo Career Center, TechWorks, manufacturing companies including John Deere, Viking Pump, Inc, Iowa Laser, KRYTON Engineered Metals, and Doerfer Companies.
