The Waterloo Citizens for a Pool 5k is today -- to help celebrate this downtown event and the awards ceremony, we're opening at 11:00 this morning.

As a major sponsor of the event, we also extend an additional benefit to participating runners: come in with your running bib or other proof of participation, and we'll take 15% off your food order.

Everyone in the know, knows that Hopskeller is the place to be on Thursdays. $1 off all beers, and $2 off our fantastic cocktails, means that this is the place to be for getting together with friends and family during the week. Icky weather calls for some of the best drinks and food in town. Today, in addition to our normal full menu, we're running our weekly Wednesday pizza, salad, and soup buffet (5:00 -- 9:00). Enjoy all-you-can-eat pizza, salad, and homemade creamy tomato bisque for just $18. Kids 12 and under eat for $12, and we're pretty flexible about letting your especially little ones have a slice or two on us.
