Building stronger communities starts by building meaningful connections.

Last week, our Cedar Valley United Way team had the opportunity to attend RIYO 's World Refugee Day Meet & Greet at Irving Elementary, where we connected with RIYO staff, Youth Navigators, AmeriCorps members, interns, and community partners who are making a difference every day.

From supporting refugee and immigrant youth through summer programming to helping families navigate resources throughout the school year, RIYO continues to create opportunities for young people to learn, grow, and thrive.

Thank you to Joana Lwin and the entire RIYO team for welcoming us and for the incredible work you do to help make the Cedar Valley a more welcoming and connected community.
