BREAKING: We now know more about the conditions of the 5 people injured in a shooting in downtown Iowa City overnight, and police are still searching for the suspects.

Iowa City Police say:

• Officers responded to a large fight near the Pedestrian Mall around 1:46 a.m.
• Gunshots were fired as officers arrived
• Five people were shot and taken to local hospitals
• One victim is in critical condition
• Police have released photos of persons of interest

Our thoughts are with the victims and their families as police continue investigating this overnight violence.
